In this study, habitat suitability of the Green Woodpecker was studied in reproductive and non-reproductive seasons in Golestan National Park. Habitat characteristics, including forest vegetation type and structural characteristics of vegetation as well as the presence/absence of woodpeckers were recorded within a 25-m radius of each of 112 sampling plots. The Classification tree model was used to identify the relationship between the presence of Green Woodpecker and habitat variables in reproductive and non-reproductive seasons. Results of statistical analysis showed that during the reproductive season, the accessibility to areas with a dense canopy cover and tall snags, determined the reproductive territory. In the non-breeding season, the site selection by the Green Woodpecker was based on the presence of live trees with DBH between 50 -100 cm and tall snags. Totally, areas with dense canopy cover (>62%) supported more density of woodpeckers. In open areas (canopy cover <62%), fallen dead trees with DBH between 50 -100 cm was the second most important predictive of the presence of the Green Woodpecker. Based on the results, in Golestan National Park, the Green Woodpecker prefers old forest habitats composed with tall and thick trees especially Oak trees. Thus, due to high dependency of Green Woodpeckers on the old and undisturbed forest habitats, removal of logs, snags, and large trees should be reduced to a minimum scale.}, keywords = {Golestan National Park,Green Woodpecker,Classification tree,reproductive and non-reproductive seasons}, title_fa = {ارزیابی زیستگاه دارکوب سبز (Picus viridis) با روش درخت طبقه‌بندی در پارک ملی گلستان}, abstract_fa = {دارکوب سبز (Picus viridis) یکی از مهم‌ترین گونه‌ها و یک گونه چتر در پارک ملی گلستان است. در این پژوهش مطلوبیت زیستگاه دارکوب سبز در دو فصل تولیدمثلی و غیرتولیدمثلی مورد بررسی قرارگرفت. مشخصه‌های زیستگاهی شامل تیپ پوشش جنگلی و ویژگی‌های ساختاری پوشش گیاهی و داده‌های حضور و عدم حضور پرنده در هر یک از 112 پلات نمونه‌برداری به شعاع 25 متر ثبت گردید. مدل درخت طبقه بندی برای تشخیص روابط بین حضور دارکوب سبز و متغیرهای زیستگاهی در دو فصل تولیدمثلی و غیرتولیدمثلی به کار رفت. نتایج تجزیه و تحلیل آماری نشان دادند که در طول دوره تولیدمثلی توانایی دسترسی به مکان‌هایی با تاج‌پوشش انبوه با درختان مرده مرتفع قلمرو تولیدمثلی را مشخص می‌کند. در فصل غیر تولیدمثلی، انتخاب مکان توسط دارکوب سبز براساس حضور درختان زنده با قطر برابرسینه بین 50-100 سانتی‌متر و درختان مرده و مرتفع بود. در مجموع، مکان‌هایی با تراکم تاج‌پوشش انبوه (تراکم تاج‌ پوشش> 62 %) تراکم بیشتری از این دارکوب را پشتیبانی می‌کند. در مکان‌های بازتر (تراکم تاج پوشش < 62 %)، تعداد درختان مرده افتاده با قطر برابر سینه بیش از 100 سانتی‌متر، دومین و مهم‌ترین پیش‌بینی‌کننده حضور دارکوب سبز بود. بر اساس نتایج، در پارک‌ملی گلستان، دارکوب سبز زیستگاه‌های جنگلی با پوشش گیاهی کهن‌سال همراه با درختان قطور و مرتفع که عمدتاً دربرگیرنده گونه بلوط است را ترجیح می‌دهد. از این‌رو، به دلیل وابستگی بالای دارکوب سبز به زیستگاه‌های جنگلی کهن و تخریب نیافته، برداشت درختان مرده افتاده، سرپا و نیز درختان زنده و بزرگ باید به حداقل ممکنه کاهش یابد.}, keywords_fa = {پارک‌ملی گلستان,دارکوب سبز,درخت طبقه‌بندی,فصل تولیدمثلی وغیرتولیدمثلی}, url = {https://animal.ijbio.ir/article_1244.html}, eprint = {https://animal.ijbio.ir/article_1244_4e26dec1a7d5f1e9b20882c5d634adef.pdf} }
